updated 09 Sep, 2024

The marriage ceremony between Chief (Dr.) Kesiye Justice Tukuru and Doris Piniki came to a climax on Sunday, September 8, 2024, as the latest couple successfully consecrated their union at the Cherubim and Seraphim Church of Zion Worldwide, Hollywood Zion Ministry in Warri, Delta State, with a charge to the couple by the Archbishop Dr. Amb. Philip Tonfawei JP to submit to each other and to God.

Chief (Dr.) Tukuru, the groom, who hails from Bayelsa State, is the General Overseer and Founder of the Hollywood Zion Ministry under the cloak of His Eminence, Rev. (Dr.) Kesiye Justice Tukuru, also popularly referred to as De Zion Doctor, De Teme Efere.

Archbishop Tonfawei JP, the guest speaker at the blessed marriage ceremony, during the course of his sermon, urged members to reconcile with one another in their relationship where there are disputes and conflicts, with a counsel to them to be Christ-like as children of God, putting away grievances and embracing love.

Speaking to PENGlobal Social, Mrs. Doris Tukuru said her excitement knows no bounds, but in all she is grateful to the Almighty God for the success recorded in the marriage.

She described her husband as "her pride" and a man every woman would be proud to call a husband because of his caring, gentle and loving nature irrespective of challenges in the homefront.

"My husband is a God-sent and an understanding man. In fact, I don't know how to explain it," she said. "Though it took us time before this marriage; in every relationship you must pass through obstacles to become strong. We have passed through a lot but even at that he never left me aside.

"He is a man and a husband who looks after his own, never allowing his wife and children to go hungry or lack anything. He is a pride to every woman, to me he is my pride and I'm so excited," she said amidst laughter.

Mrs. Doris further said she appreciated all those that came for the traditional marriage and the reception as well as turned up at the blessed marriage ceremony.

Highpoint of the ceremony which featured praises, thanksgiving and prayers, was the consecration of the union by Archbishop Tonfawei JP witnessed by members and guests that were in attendance.

It was an atmosphere of joy and celebration which was rounded up with group photograph by members and well-wishers with the latest couple, His Eminence, Rev. (Dr.) & Mrs. Kesiye Justice Tukuru.
