updated 25 Jan, 2024

Did you know that the most expensive smartphone in the world, the Falcon Supernova Iphone 6, cost US$48.5 million and that it comes in two models—pink gold and platinum?

Many smartphone users might think that Apple's iPhone 14 Pro Max is the most expensive phone gadget, but, it is not. In these days where prices of smartphones are hitting the roof, the most expensive smartphone is however influenced not only by the technological makeup of the phone but added luxurious features.

And talking about luxury features, the Falcon Supernova iPhone 6 which is studded with a pink diamond and priced at Rs 360 crores, sits at the top as the most expensive smartphone in the world. Released in 2021, the Falcon Supernova iPhone 6 can create a huge hole in people's pockets.

The phone is produced by a New York-based company named Falcon which also specialises in high-end items covered in 24-karat gold and diamonds. Despite launching its high-end smartphone, the company has partnered with Apple to customise, and the company directly ships those to its clients some of whom are, of course, top Heads of state, well-known performers, musicians, and members of royal families. It is a prized possession of Nita Ambani, wife of Indian businessman Mukesh Ambani, the richest man of Asia.

The Falcon Supernova iPhone 6 cost as much as US$48.5 million. It is made up of 24-carat gold and is studded with a huge Pink Diamond on the back. Just below the Apple logo, a huge pink diamond is engraved in a rectangular bezel. The company has used various holders to protect the diamond safely. Further, the size of the diamond is based on the settings of the phone. It offers two models, pink gold, and platinum, with the former being the more popular choice due to its dazzling appearance.

With a huge 128 GB of storage, the new Falcon SuperNova is extremely spacious. This version of the smartphone gives the user a choice between a 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch screen diagonal. Users also get the option of having the device's body made of platinum, 18 or 24-carat rose gold or both. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models have been unlocked and can be used on any network.

Despite its price tag, the phone features an 8-megapixel camera, which might seem modest in comparison to other flagship phones. However, the camera is optimized for low-light conditions, ensuring exceptional photo quality even in dimly lit environments. The 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera suffices for selfies and video calls, catering to the luxury user's needs.

Security is a priority with the Falcon Supernova, boasting a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button, along with additional features like passcode lock and Find My iPhone to safeguard user data. The phone also comes with a platinum coating and hack protection.
