PIA: OKOEA HCDT Chairman Hon. Mieyefa appreciates Gbaramatu leaders

The recently appointed Executive Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT), OKOEA Host Community Development Trust (HCDT) in OML 42, Hon. Amb. Monday Akpoapaye Mieyefa, has expressed his profound appreciation to leaders of Gbaramatu Kingdom in the Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, for their pivotal support that led to his emergence as the Board Chairman of the Trust.
The OKOEA HCDT which comprises of the oil-producing communities of Okerenkoko, Kokodiagbene, Omadino, Ekpemu Akpata, and Akpata Gbegbe, was established in line with the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA).
In his message of appreciation, Hon. Mieyefa expressed his profound gratitude to the Pere of the ancient kingdom and to other Gbaramatu leaders for the confidence reposed in him to take on the mantle of leadership of the Trust.
The Executive Chairman pledged his commitment to the progressive growth and development of the host communities making up the OKOEA as well as his resolve to carry every stakeholder along.
The message reads: "I, Hon. (Amb.) Monday Akpoapaye Mieyefa, the recently appointed Board Chairman of the OKOEA Host Community Development Trust (HCDT) in OML 42 of NEPL Limited of Jones Creek field operations, use this medium to offer my profound gratitude to the long list of leaders in Gbaramatu Kingdom for the confidence reposed in me by their support towards my emergence.
"I thank our majestic father, HRM Oboro Gbaran II (JP), Aketekpe, Agadagba, the Pere of the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, for his wisdom and sincere desire to see to not only the development of the kingdom but that there is peace, which is a necessary requirement for the agenda of development.
"In the same vein, I salute our foremost leader, High Chief Dr. Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo; Mr. Matthew Tonlagha, the Executive Director of Fenog Nigeria Limited; High Chief P. T. Heavens (JP), the Peregbolu of Gbaramatu Kingdom; High Chief Amb. Dr. Godspower Gbenekama (JP), the Fiyewei of Gbaramatu Kingdom; High Chief Dr. Nelson Ogelegbanwei (JP), the Tonwei of Gbaramatu Kingdom; High Chief (Engr.) "I also duly appreciate the personalities of Chief Ayebibode Anthony, the Torupuwei of Gbaramatu Kingdom; Chief Ekomieyefa Uduboh alias King of KFT, the Miyeinkirigbolomowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom; Chief Michael Johnny, the Agadiwei of Gbaramatu Kingdom; Chief Julius Tonfawei, the Perediwei of Gbaramatu Kingdom; Chief James Biniriver Tangbowei (JP), the Toimelemowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom; Chief (Hon.) Simeon Bebenimibo (JP), the Positariwei of Gbaramatu Kingdom; Chief (Mrs) Vero Tangbowei (JP), the Benemo-ere of Gbaramatu Kingdom, the entire Gbaramatu Kingdom Traditional Council of Chiefs among others.
