In the aftermath of the successful burial ceremony of late Mrs. Felicia Omatie Adam nee Oghomienor, friends and other sympathisers of the deceased were entertained by the family members at a brief reception in Abraka Town, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, just as the senior son in-law and his wife, Pastor Samuel and Mrs Endurance Ukuli, offered their utmost appreciation.

After the late Mrs. Felicia Omatie Adam was laid to rest on Saturday, April 26, the couple were joined for a Thanksgiving by other members of the family at the Mount Carmel Model Parish of the RCCG in Udu area of the state, on Sunday, April 27, 2025.

In their appreciation which reads below, they thanked the Almighty God for His benevolence, friends who graced the ceremony, those who offered assistance, and the Christian community for their support while they prayed for celebrations when next they assemble together again.

The appreciation note reads: "On behalf of the family, we extend our indepth gratitude to the Almighty God for His grace, mercies, provisions and protection in the course of the successful funeral ceremonies of our late golden mother, grandmother and mother in-law, Mrs. Felicia Omatie Adam nee Oghomienor.

"We also thank our friends and other guests who made out time from their busy schedules to join us in honouring our beloved dear mother and in-law. Your presence at the funeral is highly appreciated.

"We also thank all those who generously supported the family financially, physically, spiritually and otherwise to ensure that our beloved mother was duly given a befitting funeral.

"To members of the Christian community as well as the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) we are grateful for the spiritual roles you played in giving our mother a well-deserved honour through the conduct of the ceremony.

"It is our prayers that when we gather again it shall be for the celebration of life and achievements. Moreover we also pray that, by His grace, we will live longer than our departed mother whose soul we are confident is resting peacefully with her Maker.

"Thank you and God bless us all in Jesus name,  Amen!" the appreciation reads.
