LATE SNR. BOAN. IMELEYE WILSON OMIMI: The Ministerial Journey of TFZM Founder

The life of Late Snr. Boan. Imeleye Wilson Omimi, Founder of Teme-ama Foundation Zion Ministry (TFZM), was one of passion for evangelism and a demonstration of humility in service to God and humanity. From being a disciple to becoming a leader in the Cherubim and Seraphim fold, his life was shaped by his conviction to propagate the gospel. Here is a brief account of his ministerial journey that was marked with determination, patience, submission and love for God's work—characters that shaped his life while on the Earth—as culled from his biography. Excerpt:

After Late Snr. Boan. Imeleye Wilson Omimi fully embraced and accepted the divine calling to the ministry of the Gospel, he developed a strong desire for spiritual growth, mentorship, and deeper understanding of God's work. In pursuit of this goal, he joined the ministry of the renowned man of God, Snr. Prophet Peregbe, where he submitted himself to spiritual tutelage and ministerial training.

Through his humility, dedication, and willingness to learn, he distinguished himself among his peers. His close association with Snr. Prophet Peregbe greatly influenced his spiritual development, and the prophetic grace and ministerial gifts of his mentor became evident in his own life and ministry in remarkable ways.

As time progressed, Snr. Prophet Peregbe transitioned from the Cherubim and Seraphim denomination to a Pentecostal church. This denomination change marked a turning point in the life and ministry of late Late Snr. Boan. Imeleye Wilson Omimi. Guided by his convictions and vision for evangelism, he chose to establish his own evangelical outreach ministry.

With unwavering commitment to the propagation of the Gospel, he embarked on extensive missionary and church planting activities across different communities. His first church was established along Mc'aiver Market Road in Warri, Delta State. The success of this pioneering effort encouraged him to expand his evangelical work to other communities in the region.

A few years later, he founded another church in Bomadi, located in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State. His passion for soul winning and community transformation led to the establishment of several additional churches in different parts of Bayans State, notably in the Ikamta community in Bayelsa State, thereby extending the reach of his ministry and impacting numerous lives.

In 1994, Late Snr. Boan. Imeleye Wilson Omimi established another church in the Diebiri Kingdom, situated in Wari South-West Local Government Area of Delta State. Although the church showed great promise, its growth and continuity were disrupted by the outbreak of the Ogbe-Ijoh and Aladja communal crisis of 1994. As the conflict intensified and insecurity increased within the area, he was compelled to relocate to his hometown, Benikrukru for safety and stability.

Upon returning to Benikrukru, he became an active member of the local church known as Ogono Ebizor Zion. Despite his previous ministerial achievements and leadership experience, he demonstrated exceptional humility by serving faithfully within the congregation for many years. His period in Ogono Ebizor Zion Church was characterized by spiritual reflection, service, and preparation for a new phase of divine assignment.

After several years of dedicated service and spiritual growth, Late Snr. Boan. Imeleye Wilson Omimi received a divine directive in 2012 to establish a ministry of his own. Obedience to this heavenly calling, he returned to Warri and founded what is now known as the Teme-ama Foundation Zion Ministry (TFZM). The ministry commenced in a modest worship space located at Uzomo along Udu Road in Delta State.

What began as a small church, soon experienced remarkable growth through the grace of God, expanding both spiritually and numerically. The ministry became known for its emphasis on prayer, evangelizing, spiritual development, and community impact. Through steadfast leadership, faith, and commitment to God's work, the church evolved into a thriving congregation that attracted worshipers from various places.

As further evidence of God's blessing upon the ministry, a major milestone was achieved in 2022 when Teme-ama Foundation Zion Ministry (TFZM) relocated to its permanent site on Eguolor Street, behind Silver Link Hotel, also along Udu Road. During the relatively short period, a magnificent church auditorium was constructed and successfully completed. The building was subsequently dedicated to the glory of God, symbolizing the remarkable growth, resilience, and enduring legacy of Late Snr. Boan. Imeleye Wilson Omimi's ministerial journey.

The ministerial life of Late Snr. Boan. Imeleye Wilson Omimi stands as a testament to humility, perseverance, obedience to divine direction, and unwavering commitment to the advancement of the gospel. His legacy continues to inspire countless believers, church leaders, and members of the communities he faithfully served throughout his lifetime.

The Founder of Teme-ama Foundation Zion Ministry (TFZM), Late Snr. Boan. Imeleye Wilson Omimi was laid to rest in Benikrukru Community, ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, on Friday, June 19, 2026. He was 79 years old at the time of his passing.

For worshippers in TFZM, their spiritual leader has gone home to rest and to receive his reward after laborious years in ministry as expressed in their tribute, "As we bid you farewell, we do not mourn as those without hope. Rather, we celebrate a life well lived, a race well run, and a faithful servant who has gone to receive his eternal reward from the Master whom he served diligently throughout his lifetime."

Indeed, his work on the Earth is done. He is now resting until the day of the Great Reawakening as professed in Revelation chapter 20. Until then, may his golden soul sleep on peacefully in the Bosom of the Almighty.
