ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT: Otuaro Congratulates Pondi, Onoka on Successful Ph.D Defence

The Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) and Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta Affairs, High Chief Dr. Dennis Burutu Otuaro, has congratulated the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, High Chief (Engr.) Kestin Pondi, and the Delta State Commissioner for Energy, Dr. Michael Onoka, on the successful defence of their doctoral dissertations at the University of Benin (UNIBEN), Edo State.

Pondi and Onoka successfully defended their Ph.D research in Public Administration, an academic feat Otuaro described as a testament to their discipline, perseverance and commitment to continuous learning despite the demands of their professional and public responsibilities.

In his congratulatory message, the PAP Administrator commended the duo for demonstrating that academic excellence and intellectual development can be pursued alongside demanding leadership responsibilities.

According to Otuaro, attaining such a high academic qualification while actively contributing to the development of the Niger Delta and Nigeria reflects determination, sacrifice and an unwavering commitment to personal and professional growth.

He said the achievement should serve as an inspiration to young people, particularly across the Niger Delta, to embrace education, capacity building and lifelong learning as important tools for personal advancement and societal development.

Otuaro, while celebrating both Pondi and Onoka, described their academic accomplishments as a positive development for the Niger Delta, noting that the region needs more professionals and leaders who combine practical experience with intellectual capacity.

He stressed that education and capacity building remain critical to producing competent leaders, administrators and professionals capable of contributing meaningfully to addressing the developmental challenges confronting the Niger Delta and Nigeria at large.

The PAP Administrator therefore urged Pondi and Onoka to see their doctoral achievements beyond personal accomplishments and to deploy the knowledge, experience and expertise acquired toward advancing their respective areas of service and contributing to the growth of society.

He further expressed confidence that their accomplishments would encourage younger generations in the Niger Delta to pursue academic excellence while remaining committed to productive service to their communities and the nation.

Otuaro consequently extended his best wishes to High Chief (Engr.) Kestin Pondi, Ph.D, and Dr. Michael Onoka, Ph.D, urging them to continue to deploy their knowledge, experience and leadership capacities toward the advancement of the Niger Delta and Nigeria.
