Today (June 25, 2024) seems like any normal day to the general populace, but to us, the Olaye family of Bibopere Zion in Okerenkoko Federated Community, Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, it marks a memorable day, one that will not be washed away so easily by time or any events whatsoever, as it is the day that fate dealt us a sad blow on the occasion of the loss of our golden irreplaceable father, Late Snr. Boan. Dr. Johnson Kodiko Olaye.

Daddy, it is six years now that you have remained physically silent but your voice still echoes loudly in our hearts, it is a voice that will never die even though you are on the other side. That voice that instills caution in us, that same voice that breeds discipline and offered golden counsels which forged us to become better citizens in service to community and the nation at large.

We will forever miss you in our lives. Though it has been six years (72 months) down the line, but it all seems like yesterday you left us in the hands of good fate. We will try to build on your legacies and promised to make them better than you left it.

We thank you for being a wonderful and loving father to us. May you continue to rest in peace until Resurrection Day when we will all meet together once again. Until then, we love you and always will.
