The Oporoza Ward Political Elite, a political pressure group in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, has conveyed its congratulations to Chief Solomon Arenyeka (JP) on his emergence as the new Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

The group's message of congratulations is formally contained in a statement signed by its Chairman, Amb. Frederick Igere (JP), and Secretary, Chief Williams Tortor, with a copy made available to PENGlobal on Sunday, March 8, 2026.

The Oporoza Ward Political Elite also congratulated all the newly elected members of the APC State Executive Committee that emerged alongside Arenyeka.

"We, the Oporoza Ward Political Elite, offer our immense congratulations to the new Chairman of our ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Solomon Arenyeka (JP) on his latest political achievement.

"We congratulate Mr. Chairman on this latest feat of his emergence which is a testament of his years of grassroots-based political knowledge and leadership experience that could best be described as a round peg in a round hole.

"We believe your leadership as the APC Chairman in Delta State will foster sustainable unity within the party and the state at large ahead of the 2027 general elections," part of the congratulatory message reads.

The group, while congratulating all the newly elected members of the APC State Executive Committee that emerged alongside Arenyeka, also commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for fostering a peaceful and conducive political environment in the state.

"We also congratulate Elder Moses Iduh (Deputy Chairman), Chief Efe Uko (State Secretary), Chief Paulinus Akpeki (Delta Central Chairman), Chief Emmanuel Amgbaduba (Delta South Chairman), Engr. Daniel Ossai (Delta North Chairman), Elder Emmanuel Egbabor (State Organising Secretary), Barr. Valentine Onojeghuo (State Publicity Secretary), Mrs. Ifeyinwa Sobotie (State Woman Leader) and Christopher Agali (State Youth Leader), among others, for their emergence.
