CONGRESS: Warejouwei congratulates Ebieto-led APC WSW Executives, Hails Peaceful Conduct, Increase in Women Representation
The member representing the Niger Delta region in the Board of the Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project (HYPREP), Hon. Beauty Warejouwei, has congratulated the newly elected All Progressives Congress (APC) party executives in the Warri South-West Constituency area of Delta State that emerged after a peaceful and well-coordinated Congress at Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom on Saturday, February 21, 2026.
The APC Congress, which was also held nationwide, produced for Warri South-West Constituency a 24 member executive and four officio members in a process supervised by the Returning Officer, Barrister Uche, who described the exercise as free, fair and credible.
The newly elected APC executives for the Constituency are Mr. Ebieto Collins as Chairman, Mrs. Christina Seibiribo as Deputy Chairman, Mr. Erike Tarike Raphael as Secretary, Mr. Jerry Omunu as Assistant Secretary, Mr. Wellington Izoukumor as Legal Adviser, Mr. Olue Julius as Asst. Legal Adviser, Mr. Emiko Onesan as Treasurer, Mrs. Rachael Gbenekama as Asst. Treasurer, Mr. Peterkins Oturubo as Financial Secretary, Mr. Sunday Asawa as Asst. Financial Secretary.
Others are Mr. Ambrose Bramor as Publicity Secretary, Mr. Lofty Ogbe as Asst. Publicity Secretary, Mrs. Patricia Tonwe as Welfare Secretary, Mrs. Mercy Kuku as Asst. Welfare Secretary, Mr. Godwin Fenemigho as Organising Secretary, Mr. Emmanuel Bethus Ayetan as Asst. Organising Secretary, Mr. Michael Douglas as Auditor, Mr. Collins Onuwaje Anderson as Asst Auditor.
Also elected are Mrs. Regina Ise Ogegbene as Woman Leader, Mrs. Eloko Fregene as Asst. Woman Leader, Mr. Austin Deinfegha as Youth Leader, Miss Patience Uwanikone as Asst. Youth Leader, Mr. Omaretsola Eyeaghanre Representing Persons Living With Disabilities (PLWD), Mrs. Florence Ebika Oganwu as Asst. Rep. for PLWD; and the four ex-officio members: Mr. Ebi Takemebo, Mr. Austin Ajuremisan, Mr. Felix Eguare, and Mr. Gabriel Ojegbe.
Hon. Warejouwei, who joined other APC faithful to participate in the process, commended party leaders and members for their unity, maturity, harmony, and disciplined conduct during the exercise, a development she noted will further strengthen the party's unity in the Constituency.
The HYPREP Board member appreciated the leadership of Warri South-West for organizing a very peaceful Congress and for increasing the number of women participation, with about seven women elected in the executive.
She tasked the party chairman and other male counterparts to carry the women along by ensuring that they are active members of the executives, while also urging the women to live up to expectations.
She charged the new leadership to place foremost the interest of the party and to remain loyal as they work assiduously in unity, guided by the Renewed Hope mandate of Mr. President, to reposition the party for greater success and to secure decisive victories for it in forthcoming elections.
Distinguished party leaders from the Constituency present include the member representing Warri Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Thomas Eriyetomi; the Executive Chairman of Warri South-West LG Council, Hon. Sylvester Oromoni; the Leader in the Legislative House, Warri South-West LG Council, Rt. Hon. Samuel Idukedoumene Ekpemupolo; Mr. Arex Eyengho, Hon David Tonwe, Chief Favour Izoukumor, various electoral wards and other party faithful.
The peaceful and successful conduct of the Warri South-West APC Congress further reinforces the party’s commitment to internal democracy, consensus-building and strategic consolidation as it continues to strengthen its grassroots structures across the State.
