BENIKRUKRU: We should hunger for more — Imeleye, commends organisers of 3-day spiritual programme

A foremost spiritual leader and minister in the Gospel, Rev. (Dr.) Emmanuel Imeleye, has called on the people of Benikrukru Community to not let down their guards, but to hunger for more, in recognition of the tremendous developmental projects recorded in the community that has positioned it as one of the fastest growing.

The clergyman made the call in Benikrukru community while attending the recently concluded three days fasting, prayer and thanksgiving programme that held from Thursday, December 18, to Saturday, December 20, 2025.

The minister in charge of the Foursquare Gospel Church at Ekpan, commended the organisers of the programme led by Pastor Tortor Blessing, and coordinated by Apst. Roland Ojogun, for committing to the success of this year's edition.

He said, "As the things of God, the Bible says the path of the just is as a shining light that shines brighter and brighter. This year was better. Better in terms of organization, better in terms of attendance, and better in terms of spread.

"We have people from Ondo State, we have people from Bayelsa (not less than 30 people from Bayelsa). We have people from Rivers State, pastors from Oyingbo, pastors from Bayelsa, even pastors from Akwa Ibom. So the spread was massive. I think it is because of the momentum it has generated and the impact that has been made," he alluded.

Speaking further on the reason behind the massive turnout, he attributed it in line with the theme of the programme, "Wonders of Grace" to God's manifestation as witnessed by the monumental projects ongoing in the oil-rich community.

"And the other one is that people are seeing the fruit and the proof of the programme. If you reach to the community you can see the impact of development—the beauty of infrastructural projects, wood construction, development in terms of human capital development, people are working day and night.

"So, it has become even a job seeking center. People are leaving Warri to go and look for jobs. So, with all these impacts, with all these testimonies, the news was massive, and the spiritual impact was very high. The ministrations were enticing, and people are now seeing the program, and the ones that can also come and see and are replicate this in their own place. People are coming to see it to experience so that they can replicate it in their own place," he attested.

Rev. Imeleye charged other Gbaramatu communities to emulate Benikrukru community and to unravel the secret being used by the community so that they too can benefit from God's Wonders of Grace.

"When things like this are happening it has become a challenge to keep it going. We have set the tone and so we need to just keep it going. We don't see things that are happening so we go to our comfort zone. We should hunger for more, the more we do it the more it will be for us.

"And for Gbaramatu, I want to advise that every community should take an example from Benikrukru with what is happening and we will arrive at the same place. When somebody sees something that is working somewhere, then it is good to go and ask for the secret and principles; secret and principles don't fail.

"in Job 49:4, it says, 'When I have the secret of God in my tabernacle.' So, there's a secret that Benikrukru is using and so all other Gbaramatu communities should come and learn that secret," he challenged them.
