APPRECIATION: Note of Thanks From the Family of Late Mrs. Menimor Wurubougha Igelemo nee Olukpa

Our dear mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Late Mrs. Menimor Wurubougha Igelemo nee Olukpa, who joined our ancestors recently at the age of 86 years, has been laid to eternal rest in Ebiabu quarter, Kokodiagbene community, Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State on Thursday after a social wake-keep ceremony on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.
As our people would say, "The eyes that cry still sees." And so, though we are pained by the loss of our beloved mother, we nonetheless feel obliged to tender this note of appreciation in gratitude for the support received especially in our time of need.
We are grateful to the Almighty God who made the burial ceremony a success and for His protection. He that gives life has taken back what is His and we believe our beloved mother is resting peacefully in His Bosom. For God loves her most.
Secondly, we thank all those who supported us financially through their freewill contributions to enable us to give our mother a befitting burial rite. This show of solidarity and love, particularly among us the Ijaws, is highly commendable. Knowing we are together in sadness and in joy is a huge relief. We say THANK YOU!
Thirdly, we appreciate every one from within Kokodiagbene and from other communities in the kingdom who were present at the ceremony, for making out time in joining us to honour our beloved mother. Your company was indeed golden and gave us strength knowing that we were not alone.
Lastly, we appreciate the chiefs, elders, women and youths of Kokodiagbene for honouring our beloved mother by providing am enabling atmosphere as well as turning up massively at the ceremony.
It is our utmost prayers that the Almighty God will bless you all and helpers for you in your time of need. We also pray that He keeps us to enjoy life and to live to a golden age, Amen.
