[UPDATED] FUNERAL: Late Popular Tradomedical Dr. Abel Uttoh for Burial Nov. 3, Service of Songs Oct. 31
The funeral date for the late popular traditional medical Dr. Abel Uttoh, has been announced by the families of the deceased as Friday, November 3, with a service of songs ceremony billed for Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
This was made known to PENGlobal Community earlier by a member of the family, Chief Paul Ukuli with more detailed plans as contained in the burial programme that was signed on behalf of the family by Elder Boan. Dr. Isaac Ukuli and for the children by Mrs. Abel Mercy.
According to the burial arrangement, his remains will depart the Ame Specialist Hospital Mortuary on Friday to his hometown, Kokodiagbene community in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, for a social wake keep ceremony.
The late tradomedical doctor will thereafter be laid to rest on Saturday, November 4, while an outing and Thanksgiving service holds on Sunday, November 5, at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Kokodiagbene.
Meanwhile, a Service of Songs ceremony in honour and memory of the deceased will hold at his residence at Odoko Street off Karen Street, Emebiren in Okumagba Layout, Warri, on Tuesday, October 31 at 3pm prompt.
Recall that the late popular tradomedical doctor, born in 1942, joined his ancestors on Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023 at the age of 81 years.
He is a descendant of Late Mr. Bekenawei Uttoh from Kokodiagbene and Late Mrs. Tabri Abai from Igoba town, all in Gbaramatu Kingdom.
The late Dr. Uttoh is fondly remembered by many as one of the tradomedical doctors that used his knowledge in massage therapy to bring succour to many afflicted with diverse health issues.
Late Dr. Abel Uttoh is survived by three children, grandchildren, among other relatives. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
