On the family front, Mrs. Tare Brawuru Diegbegha, the wife of the late Chief Diegbegha, wrote, "Life is indeed unpredictable. You were kind, loving and a husband with a large heart. You've created a vacuum that will be hard to fill. But my confidence is in the comfort of God Almighty who is ever good and kind. Rest on my beloved husband."

"It's hard to believe you are gone," wrote another member of the family, Chief Linus Yeinanagbegha. “You were not just a dear brother but someone I can call a friend, a counselor and a burden bearer. You may be gone but the fond memory of you will forever be in our hearts. Rest on Chief J. Brawuru A.K.A Yeye Dey, Na God O!”

The first son, Amb. Seiyefa Bebe Diegbegha, wrote: "Father I know you are gone but your memory still lives. If I am to compare, your type is incomparable. You are a kind father who always care and love your family. Indeed, you are a true father to be called. We, your children, miss you. Not just missing you but from the depth of our heart. Farewell father."

For the first daughter, Mrs. Tuaton Best Jude Werimegbe, said that among other virtues, said his late father "taught me the true meaning of unconditional love.
