TRIBUTE: Ojogun mourns TFZM Founder Imeleye, describes passing as 'end of an era'
The Chief Executive Officer of Jefojo Nigeria Limited (JNL), Chief (Amb.) Jeffrey Ekankumor Ojogun, along with his wife, Chief (Mrs.) Ebidoumene Ojogun, and family, have expressed sadness over the demise of the Founder of Teme-Ama Foundation Zion Ministry (TFZM), late Snr. Boan. Prt. Imeleye Wilson Omimi, fondly called Oba Eli Aromina, who is to be laid to rest in Benikrukru Community, on Friday, June 19, 2026.
Chief Ojogun, who is the chairman of the burial planning committee and the Kurowei of ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, describe the passing of the spiritual leader and father as the end of an era, but stated that he and his family as well as other members of the ministry take comfort in the legacy that the departed leader built during his time on the Earth.
The tribute reads, "With hearts filled with grief, yet gratitude to God for a life well spent, we join family members, the Cherubim and Seraphim Church family, friends, and numerous admirers in paying glowing tribute to the memory of a remarkable servant of God, Late Snr. Boan. Prt. Imeleye Wilson Omimi, fondly known as Oba Eli Aromina, Founder of Teme-Ama Foundation Zion Ministry (TFZM), who peacefully departed this world at the age of 79 years.
"The passing of Baba Aromina marks the end of an era, but his legacy of faith, service, humility, and spiritual leadership will continue to inspire generations to come. As the Founder of Teme-Ama Foundation Zion Ministry (TFZM), he dedicated his life to the propagation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the promotion of righteousness, and the spiritual upliftment of countless souls.
"Baba was more than a church leader; he was a father, mentor, counselor, peacemaker, and a pillar of strength to many within and beyond the Cherubim and Seraphim fold. Through his unwavering commitment to God's work, he nurtured believers, strengthened families, restored hope to the discouraged, and remained a shining example of godly character and selfless service.
"His contributions to the growth and advancement of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church remain immeasurable. He stood firmly for the preservation of the church's spiritual values, promoted unity among believers, and devoted his time and resources to ensuring that the message of Christ reached many communities. His wisdom, humility, and deep understanding of the scriptures earned him the respect and admiration of both spiritual leaders and congregants alike.
"Beyond the altar, Baba Aromina was a compassionate humanitarian whose life reflected the true essence of Christian love. He touched lives through his generosity, kindness, and readiness to support those in need. His leadership was marked by integrity, fairness, and a sincere desire to see others succeed in their walk with God.
"Though his physical presence will be greatly missed, we take solace in the fact that he lived a fulfilled life dedicated to God and humanity. His enduring legacy will continue to live on through the ministry he founded, the lives he transformed, and the countless memories he created during his impactful journey on earth.
