The Bishop likened life on Earth as passengers on a bus that are embarking on a journey. He said that the Late Chief Odudu has disembarked from the bus at his own bus stop and likewise every other passengers will also disembark on getting to their exit point in life, but that the journey continues as the rest of life will be lived in eternity either in Heaven or in Hell, just as he urged all to amend their ways to be right with God.

Bishop Obiogbo while describing the late Chief Odudu noted that the deceased served well, and that for the period he knew him the late chief lived a peaceful and humble life, embracing the fear of God.

He further revealed that since the late chief's conversion to Christianity by his family member and son, Pastor Elijah, he displayed dedication and total commitment hence the church elevated him to the position of Elder.

He further admonished all in attendance to endeavour to leave behind a lasting and good legacy that will speak thereafter they are gone from life, as he posed the rhetorical question "What will you leave behind?" to the audience with reference to Proverbs 13:22, "A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children..."
