The marriage of one's children is the dream of every parents and it is a thing of great joy for me and my family to witness and to give out our beloved beautiful daughter, Sophia, to her handsome husband, our in-law, Mr. Gift Abraham Akowe. However, as I and my family revel in our state of joy, we are mindful of the fact that we couldn't have done it without the input of others.

Therefore, it is with great honour that I salute our Heavenly Father, the Most High God, for making the marriage that was once a dream, a reality for us. We thank Him for the smooth process, His protection over everyone who graced the traditional marriage and reception, and the grace to achieve this. May His name alone be praised.

Secondly, we thank the countless number of dignified personalities who came to polish the ceremonies with their colourful presence. We say THANK YOU to our golden guests from Okerenkoko Federated Community, Kunukunuma Federated Community and other communities in Gbaramatu Kingdom; and also those from far away Ewobimi and other towns in Edo State.

Thirdly, we appreciate every other persons, who in one way or the other contributed to the success of the traditional marriage and reception. The musicians, the caterers, the decorators, the ushers, the bouncers, the media teams among others.

Lastly, to our family members who put in all efforts toward the success of the traditional marriage and reception party, we say THANK YOU for your unreserved contributions.

We pray to the Almighty Father in Heaven to rain down His manifold blessings upon you all and that He will cause men and women of means to also celebrate you at your own time far above the measure with which you have given to us by your presence as well as the resources you expended.
