LAYEFA & PRINCE NNAMDI: The Tebela's Note of Appreciation

We, Mr. and Mrs. Warri Tebela, on the occasion of the successful traditional marriage and reception of our beloved daughter, Layefa, to her darling husband, Prince Nnamdi Nwuju, which held on Thursday 25 and Saturday 27, January 2024, respectively, tender our note of appreciation as follows:

First, we acknowledge the mercies and grace of the Almighty God in making the marriage a huge success as everything went as planned, especially in granting safe journey to and fro to all who made put time to attend the ceremonies.

Secondly, we appreciate the sundry of guests for the honour they gave us in not only showing up to spice the celebration of love with their colourful presence, but in also expending resources by their gifts to add to our delight at the ceremonies.

The list are endless, but we will not fail to recognize the Ebidouwei of Ijaw Nation, Chief Government Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo; the chairman of Kokodiagbene community, Comr. Pedro Bekenawei; the former chairman, Chief Comr. Sheriff Mulade;

We also thank all the notable chiefs from Gbaramatu Kingdom notable among whom are Chief Emmanuel Ekpetipu, Chief (Engr.) George Timiyan, Chief (Capt.) Felix Eguare, Chief Paul Ukuli, Chief Roland Ekpemupolo, Chief Isaac Gbabo, Chief (Mrs.) Ebidoumene Ojogun.

In addition we offer out gratitude to Elder Amos Okoro, Elder Ari S. Ari, Capt. Mark Timiyan, Capt. Dickson Timiyan, Sir Victor Tonlagha, Hon. Jimoh Keniye, Hon. Uyadonghan Powede, Engr. Johnson Powede, Mr. Edwin Aruwei; Mr. Abraham Tadafe, Mr. Wilfred Koko, Mr. Tuoyo Mogbeyiteren (Omadino chairman), Mrs. Jimoh Keniye, Dcns. Ati Odafe, Madam Sagana Bubor AKA Ologbo 1, Madam December Ojogun, Mrs. Love Eguare, Mrs. Yema Okoro and a host of others.

Not also forgetting the youths of Kokodiagbene community as led by the president of Kokodiagbene Youth Development Movement (KYDM), Comr. Blessing Laide and other members of the executives; Comr. Julius Keniye (AKA Wire), Comr. Cousin Doutimi, Mr. Bako Igere, Mr. Timadi, Comr. Ebipade Timiyan, Comr. Kelvin Igere, Mr. Edison Aduke.

We also appreciate women of Kokodiagbene community as represented by various social cultural groups such as The Top Ladies of Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri Beke Group of Friends AKA 'Not Your Regular', Kokodiagbene Urban women group, and Kokodiagbene Bolowonimode Ogbo among so many others including the MCs Mr. Right, Abioka, including Chief Kingsley Takemebo and his band.

As parents it is an honour to witness our daughter's marriage and it is therefore our prayers that the Lord Almighty will cause you to celebrate at your own time. We are not also forgetting the Nwuju family, our in-law, as well as other members of the Tebela family for their contributions and efforts. May God bless you all.

Lastly, we pray for the couple that the Lord bless their union with fruitfulness, love, peace, prosperity, and good health, as we look ahead for other celebrations to come in Jesus name, Amen.
