LATE HIGH CHIEF ARI: Note of Appreciation from the Ari Family

30 Nov, 2023

At the age of 84 years, we felt the passage of our dearly beloved iconic father, Late High Chief Elder Jonathan Gere Bakah Ari (JP), the Puwei of Gbaramatu Kingdom, was yet too early. But in all, according to our belief as Christian, we are told to thank the good Lord in every situation that we find ourselves.

Having concluded with the funeral rites which began with a service of songs, burial ceremony and Thanksgiving, we deem it fit to acknowledge the numerous supporters, including family members, for their laudable and wonderful efforts.

We therefore render all thanks to God Almighty in whose Bosom our father is resting for the grace granted us to see the funeral ceremonies through, with everything working together for our good and for the glory of His name. No accident was recorded as everyone arrived and returned home safely.

We are also in deep gratitude to our king, the Pere of Gbaramatu Kingdom, Oboro Gbaraun II (JP), Aketekpe, Agadagba and the traditional council of chiefs, as well as the Niger Delta leader, High Chief Dr. Government Ekpemupolo, Engr. Matthew Tonlagha and Hon. George Ekpemupolo, among so many personalities in the kingdom.

The names are endless as there won't be enough space to accommodate by mentioning all of the uncountable personalities from the political, business, social and religious circles that played a huge role towards giving out father a befitting burial.

We won't forget to also appreciate the leader, Rev. Jethro Ayemobuwa and members of the Life Church of God Ministry for standing by us to lay our father to rest.

Of all, we learned that our daddy was not only a father to us but meant so much to others who knew him. We are proud of his numerous achievements and he will forever be in our hearts.

Once again, we say THANK YOU as we pray the Almighty God bless and replenish you all abundantly in Jesus name, Amen.
