LATE CLEMENT OMOLE EREMENEGHA ODU: Note of Appreciation From the Family

03 Sep, 2024

The family of Late Snr. Boan. Pa. Clement Omole Eremenegha Odu hereby tender this note of thanks in appreciation on the successful funeral ceremony of our beloved father, grandfather and great grandmother which held in Okerenkoko Federated Community, Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, on Friday, August 30, 2024.

First, we give all the glory to the Almighty God (who blessed us with such a golden and wonderful father in the first instance, a personality that was also a revered father to others) for making the burial a success in the sense that His protection, provisions and grace was sufficient for us to conclude the task expected of us. Without Him, nothing would have been possible.

Secondly, we thank the countless personalities that were in attendance. We have resolved not to mention names due to the lengthy list of identities that played paramount role in the successful burial of our dear legendary father. But the Almighty God knows you and will definitely reward your positive efforts. We therefore thank you all for your presence during the ceremony, for your financial contributions that helped lessen our burdens, for your steadfast prayers and counsels when we needed them the most, for your sacrifices, and for your love.

We specifically appreciate the community of the Cherubim and Seraphim churches in Gbaramatu Kingdom and their spiritual leaders for uniting under the umbrella of Christ to honour our ever loving father and help lay our dearly beloved historian to eternal rest. We are highly indebted to you all for your spiritual and physical assistance.

This appreciation will not be complete if we fail to salute the golden people of Okerenkoko Federated Community for the hospitality and support that was given before, during and after the burial ceremony. The spirit of brotherhood as displayed by the community is indescribable. May God continue to uplift the community to the zenith.

We thank every other persons not captured above but who in one way or the other contributed to the success recorded in the burial. The musicians, the media, the caterers, the security officials, the burial committee members, among others. We say thank you for your tremendous support.

It is our prayers that the Almighty Father, whom our father, grandfather and great grandfather has gone to be with, will reward you all above your expectations. It is also our prayers that we will all live to celebrate a fruitful life and never to mourn prematurely by the special grace of God in Jesus name, Amen.

Signed
THE ODU FAMILY
