We profoundly express our gratitude to the Almighty Father for His protection and provisions toward the smooth and successful burial ceremony of our dear mother, late CHIEF MRS. DORIS ASUGBO ISERU (Nee GBENEKAMA), the Pereteibenemo-arau and the Amaokusu-ere of Ogbe-ijoh Kingdom in the Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, on Friday, May 3, 2024.

We also thank the multitudes of guests who deemed it fit, despite their busy schedules, to make out time by availing us with their colourful presence in honour of our late mother during the funeral ceremonies.

We particularly thank our noble guests, especially the chiefs from the Ogulagha Kingdom Traditional Council in the Burutu L.G.A as well as those from Gbaramatu Kingdom in the Warri South-West. We appreciate you all for joining us to honour our late mother. May God bless you all abundantly.

We also salute the golden people of Ogbe-Ijoh Kingdom for the warm hospitality we received during the funeral service, and for their turning out en masse to add colour to the ceremonies.

Lastly, we thank the members of The Church Of The Pentecost (Anglican Communion) in Ogbe-Ijoh Kingdom for the roles they played during the funeral ceremonies.

At 104 years old, our late mother lived a long life but we had hoped she lived more years on the Earth. However, we give all the glory to the Almighty God and pray that we live a long, peaceful and fruitful life than she did. Moreover, we also pray that when we meet again it shall be a meeting of celebration and not the shedding of tears.
