DOUBLE CELEBRATION: The Uttoh Family Mark 51st Marriage Anniversary, Dedicate Child
In this modern day where relationships are breaking up in a twinkle of an eye, Elder & Mrs. Abraham Uttoh challenges modern day couples as the grand parents celebrated 51 years in marriage, while at the same time witnessed the dedication of another grandchild added to the rising list of their descendants, Baby Abraham Tamaradoubra Janelle, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. James Uttoh.
Both ceremonies which held at the International Church of Christ in Effurun area of Delta State, had in attendance families, friends, and well-wishers of the celebrants, on Sunday, September 29, 2024.
Elder & Mrs. Abraham Uttoh, natives of Igoba and Kokodiagbene communities, among others in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, dedicated their 51st anniversary to the mercies of God in blessing their union with children as well as giving them the grace to see their grand children.
According to Elder Uttoh, though billed for last year (2023) in respect of their 50th marriage anniversary, the unexpected turn of events derailed their plans. He and his wife decided to not let 2024 slip by hence the 51st celebration of their anniversary.
For Mr. & Mrs. James Uttoh, the dedication of their child, Baby Abraham Tamaradoubra Janelle, which coincided with the 51st marriage anniversary of her grandparents, was yet another milestone achieved by the family.
Highlights of ceremonies which was marked with dances, praise giving, and light refreshments include the cutting of the 51st marriage anniversary cake by Elder & Mrs. Uttoh and group photograph session with families, friends and well-wishers.
Evang. Karunwi Laolu, the presiding minister of the church, who performed the child dedication, offered prayers of blessings for the family of Elder Uttoh and that of Mr. & Mrs. James Uttoh.
For the Uttoh family, it was a day of joy. And talking about celebration, it would not be out of place to also tag the ceremonies as a triple celebration as Elder Uttoh recently turned 78 on Sunday, September 22, 2024, a week ago. Congratulations to the Uttoh family.
