It was joy for the family of Engr. Emmanuel Mientoikumor Abai and Mrs. Monica Yebisi Selegha Abai of Igoba town and Kokodiagbene town in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, as they joined their son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Randy Abai at the child naming ceremony of their 14th grandchild in Warri.

The child naming ceremony, which flagged-off 3pm on Monday, January 29, 2024, was officially conducted by members of the Living Faith Church, LFC, also known as Winners Chapel.

The climax of the ceremony was when the parents of the infant-born revealed the names of their second child to the audience as: ANAIAH EBIYE MUNACHIMSO RANDY ABAI.

Rendering interpretation of the names in English, the couple revealed that Anaiah means 'God answers'; Ebiye stands for 'goodness'; while Munachimso means 'The Lord is my partner'.

Speaking on the names of their infant born, Mrs. Gift Randy Abai said that the choice of the names given to their golden daughter springs forth from the realities of what the family had been through as well as their expectations from God.

"Anaiah is as a result of the Lord answered my prayers by granting me safe delivery. Then as for Ebiye, our daughter is a reminder that a good thing has been added to our family, while Munachimso is a demonstration of God Almighty always being with us as our partner for life," she further revealed.

Other highlights of the brief ceremony which was attended by other family members and friends of the host include entertainment session with drinks and other light refreshments served as part of the celebration.
