APPRECIATION: Thank You Note From the Family of Late Capt. Sampson E. Teide (Sam Ted)

27 Jul, 2024

For us, the family of Late ELDER SAMPSON EDERIKUMOR TEIDE popularly known as SAM TED, whose remains was laid to eternal rest in his home town, Kokodiagbene community in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State on Friday, July 19, 2024, these past few days have been a very long one as we continue to mourn the sudden departure of our loving dear father, uncle, brother, and son, whose sad loss occurred on Friday, June 28, 2024, at the age of 64 years.

Nonetheless, even with tearful eyes, it behooves on us the duty to show our appreciation and express our gratitude, firstly, to the giver and owner of life, the Creator (whom our father has gone home to rest in His presence) for the strength, protection and provisions to undertake the burial ceremony successfully.

Secondly, we thank all of our friends and other sympathisers across the business and political space, as well as church ministers, who made out time to grace the burial ceremony in Kokodiagbene community. We also acknowledge the roles you all played by way of your condolences, counsels and prayers which helped to strengthen us.

Thirdly, we appreciate the numerous financial contributions made by family members, friends and other sympathisers for the burial of our late father, uncle, brother, and son. Your financial contributions were indeed a reminder that we are not alone in this trying time. If money could resuscitate back to life our dear SAM TED, we are certain that he would be alive today. But in all we give God all the glory.

Fourthly, we are grateful to the people of Kokodiagbene community for the hospitality shown our guests and for the honour given to our dear father. We also thank the people of Okerenkoko and all other community representatives that were in attendance at the burial ceremony. Your massive turnout to pay your last respect was indeed a great honour worth commending.

Lastly, we thank every other persons not mentioned, who in one way or the other played significant roles that contributed to the success of the burial ceremony. It is our prayers that the Almighty God will preserve us all to fulfill our destinies on Earth and cause us to celebrate life, not mourn prematurely, in Jesus name.

Once again we say Thank you and God bless and protect us all, Amen.
