Ahead of the local government election in Delta State, a faithful of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, Comr. Tonfawei Ebibode has called on the electorates and party faithfuls in Oporoza Ward, Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area to give their massive support to the chairmanship and councillorship candidates of the party, Hon. Sylvester Oromoni and Comr. Tangbe Felix Akpos, respectively.

Comr. Tonfawei, a native of Oporoza community, the headquarters of Gbaramatu Kingdom, declared his support for the PDP candidates in a statement he issued to that effect on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.

Recall that while Comr. Oromoni who hails from Ogbe-Ijoh, the headquarters of the Warri South-West LG Council, is the consensus chairmanship candidate of the PDP, Comr. Tangbe joined the race to represent the people of Oporoza Ward 3 as Councillor in the legislative arm of the LG Council.

"I am fully in support of the candidacy of our dear brother, Comr. Tangbe Felix Akpos, who is running for Councillor to represent the good people of Oporoza Ward 3 under the umbrella of our great party, the People's Democratic Party, PDP.

"I believe Comr. Tangbe Felix Akpos will deliver effective representation to our people as he is qualified to represent the people in Council having been a grassroots person," he added.

Comr. Tonfawei appealed to supporters and party faithfuls of the PDP in Oporoza Ward 3 and the entire Warri South-West to rally behind the candidates to ensure victory for the party.

"PDP is our own and its candidates are the viable option that can bring about the MORE Agenda of our governor to the grassroots, and so I am appealing on all party faithfuls and supporters to deliver victory for the party's candidates at the forthcoming election."

Meanwhile, the PDP LG campaign in Warri South-West flags off today (Wednesday) at the headquarters, Ogbe-Ijoh, ahead of the polls.
