updated 15 May, 2024

An aspirant, Comrade Tangbe Felix Akpos, has joined the race for councilorship to represent the people of Ward 3 Oporoza in Gbaramatu Kingdom in the Warri South-West Local Government Council of Delta State.

Comrade Tangbe, who recently made the disclosure to vie for the councilorship position to PENGlobal politics, is seeking to achieve his ambition on the platform of the ruling People's Democratic Party, PDP.

Speaking on the development, the Ward 3 aspirant said his reason for joining the race is to deliver effective representation to the people of the ward if elected to serve the people and the State at large.

According to Comr. Tangbe, as someone from grassroots, he believes he is familiar with the challenges bedeviling the people as well as on his capability to make a difference if given the opportunity to serve as councilor.

"I believe in the MORE Agenda of our leader and excellent governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, and it is my desire to do more for my people, especially the youths and our aged parents, by bringing governance to their doorsteps through effective representation," he said.

Comr. Tangbe who promised not to disappoint the people of his constituency appealed to them for their support as his emergence as councilor is a win for all.

"I therefore call on the good people of Ward 3 to throw their weight behind my aspiration by supporting me so that we will all succeed in the end because my victory will be a victory for all," he stated.
