WARRI SOUTH-WEST: Comr Fredrick Braye Set for Oporoza Ward Councilor, Assures of Good Representation

A one-time Chairman of Opuedebubor community and Secretary of Oporoza Ward in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Comrade Fredrick Braye Godstime, has promised to effect laws that will attract good governance to the people of his constituent as well the Warri South-West Local Government Council area at large.

Comrade Fredrick, who joins the rising list of aspirants vying for the position of councilor in the ward on the platform of the ruling People's Democratic Party, PDP, made his ambition known in a statement he released on Friday, May 17, 2024.

According to the former community chairman and ward secretary, the Oporoza Ward needs a candidate that is experienced in leadership matters, understands the working mechanism of the LG Council, and is conversant with the challenges facing the people.

Comr. Fredrick who revealed that the core functions of a councilor is to enact effective laws, further disclosed that one of the reasons he is vying for councilor is to enable him to "join the legislative arm to make laws that will help our State, our constituency, and the youths at large."

The councillorship aspirant assured the people of Oporoza Ward of a "good representation and fairness" if entrusted with the mandate to represent the ward and the party in the LG Council.

He therefore appeal to members of his constituency to give him all the needed support to make his aspiration to represent the ward in the LG Council a reality.
