THE PENGlobal WATCH: Gbaramatu First Female Chieftain Receives Copy of Magazine, Extols Brand's Professionalism

A pace-setter and the first female chieftaincy title holder in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, Chief Josephine Ogoba, has acknowledged the business and social brand promotional agency, PENGlobal, for its professionalism and the recognition accorded her at the recent launch of its maiden edition of The PENGlobal Watch magazine themed ‘The Magnum Opus collection’.

Chief Ogoba, who is the custodian of the Ibe-Telemo-Ere traditional title, gave the commendation when the Brand Director of the PENGlobal brand, Mr. Abai Francis, paid a courtesy visit to her residence in Warri on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, to present a copy of The PENGlobal Watch magazine.

In his brief speech, the Brand Director of PENGlobal revealed that the unbroken record set by the female chieftain in Gbaramatu Kingdom as the first female chief earned her a place as a featured guest in the personality section of the magazine.

Mr. Abai further revealed that it is the organisation’s way of encouraging the female chief and to let the Ibe-Telemo-Ere know that there are people who still appreciate her contributions, especially the roles she played through her struggles to uplifting the women and adding more value to the roles they play in society.

The Brand Director thereafter presented a copy of the magazine to Chief Ogoba who delightfully received a copy in company of her children and grandchildren, namely Odafe Esiephan, Oghenero Esiephan, Oluwafemi Nicholas, and Odafe Tamara-ebi.

In her response, Chief Ogoba admitted her surprise at the honour bestowed on her and commended the organization for its steadfastness in promoting good values and urge the brand to continue in its good works.  

Also expressing their delights, the children of the Ibe-Telemo-Ere, who were in attendance at the brief ceremony showed their appreciation and prayed for upliftment of the PENGlobal brand.

"I've been hearing of PENGlobal and I've seen some of the jobs they've done with her on their inventories on the platform," said Nicholas, her last born son. "We really appreciate your good works and that you keep it going. We pray for more visible ideas to take you to the global world at large. Thank you for remembering our mother. Being the first chief in Gbaramatu Kingdom is a privilege to us," he added.

"I really want to appreciate you and for putting our grandmother in mind. We pray the brand moves forward to greater heights in Jesus name, Amen," said Tamara-ebi, a granddaughter.

Recall that The PENGlobal Watch magazine was launched in Warri on June 14, 2023 and Chief Ogoba appeared on page 24 in the personality section of the magazine as a feature guest, among other thrilling contents. She was a frontline candidate in the 2023 general elections on the platform of the People's Redemption Party, PRP, to represent Warri South-West constituency in the state assembly.
