THANKSGIVING: Kokodiagbene Exco appreciate God for successful inauguration, pledge quality leadership

The Comrade Ark Selegha-led Executive Council of Kokodiagbene community in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, have expressed appreciation to the Almighty God for a successful and peaceful inauguration ceremony while also reassuring the people of the oil-rich community of quality representation in leadership.

The newly inaugurated executives offered the appreciation as well as the assurance at a Thanksgiving service that held at the Tamarabode Zion Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Kokodiagbene, under the spiritual leadership of Boan. Raphael Selegha, on Sunday, January 19, 2025.

Recall that the executive members who were duly sworn-in and inaugurated on Monday, January 13, are Comr. Ark Selegha (Chairman), Paul Diwere (Vice Chairman), Gabriel Ukuli (Secretary), Engr. Johnson Powede (Public Relations Officer), Nani Mala (Financial Secretary), Maxwell Obode (Assistant Financial Secretary), John Arukarawei (Assistant Secretary), Tima Igedo (Treasurer) and Jerry Ari (Provost).

Community leaders in attendance at the Thanksgiving service are Chief George Timiyan (JP), Chief Felix Eguare, Chief Paul Ukuli, Chief Timothy Juweigha, Elders Imoni Timiyan, Ari S. Ari, Emery Bekenawei, Mr. Norris Selegha, Mr. Ibor Ari, Mrs. Helen Selegha, among others.

The executives, in demonstration of their appreciation, also made a donation of a set of modern plastic chairs to the church as a token of their gratitude.

Among the guest speakers that graced the Thanksgiving Service is the spiritual leader of Ama-Ebimo Zion C&S Church in Kunukunuma Federated Community, Dr. Mathias Amaye Zion. Other ministers in attendance are Boan. Ukuli, Pastors Abuja, Abel Simon, Dickson Akoto, Bestman Cousin and a host of others.

Special prayers were offered on the executives with unction to go and succeed as they lead the people of Kokodiagbene community for the next four years.
