THANKSGIVING: God will settle 2025 — Pastor Zibimoghan declares, urges Nigerians to remain steadfast
The leadership and members of the Eagle Wings Gospel Church International have begun the New Year 2025 with thanksgiving to the Almighty God for a successful crossover, just as its founder and Senior Pastor, Marvel Zibimoghan, uttered a declaration of settlement for the year through God's intervention in the nation's affairs.
The annual thanksgiving which has as its theme "Victory" with Bible text taken from Psalm 98 verse 1, held in the church Auditorium at Voltage Hotel Road in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State, on Sunday, January 12.
The programme featured praises, singing and dancing, a sermon, testimonies among other ceremonies, and climaxed with each family performing their thanksgiving in appreciation for God's provisions and preservation over their lives.
Speaking on the programme, the host, Pastor Zibimoghan, urged Nigerians particularly Deltans and Niger Deltans to not despair in the New Year, but to put their expectations in the Almighty God, the ultimate solution provider.
The Senior Pastor, in line with the theme of "Victory" further declared that the New Year will be victorious for believers as he prayed for God to settle challenges bedevilling the nation.
He said, "My message for Nigerians, and especially Deltans, concerning 2025, is that it is a year of God's divine protection, a year of victory.
"My prayer for Nigeria is that God should preserve everyone's life. And for us, the year 2025 should be a year of settling everything peacefully in this country," he added.
Also speaking, the Thanksgiving Planning Committee Chairman, Comrade Kingsley Egbejule, who is the President of the Gbaramatu Youth Council (GYC) in Gbaramatu Kingdom, thanked God for a successful programme and for safely ushering members through the year 2024 into the new year.
He also thanked the leadership and members of the ministry for the unity and efforts put in by everyone towards the successful hosting of the annual thanksgiving.
In their joyful mood, the congregation, having done their thanksgiving, now look forward to God's blessings for the year in preparation for their next thanksgiving ceremony ahead.
