SUPREME COURT VERDICT: ‘Accept Outcome of Presidential Election Result’ — Mulade Tells Presidential Candidates, Congratulates Tinubu

Delta State born peace and environmental justice advocate, Chief Sheriff Mulade, has called on the presidential candidates in the February 25, 2023 general election to accept the outcome of the presidential election result and the Supreme Court Judgment delivered recently in favour of the All Progressives Congress candidate, Bola Ahmed Tunubu.

Chief Mulade, who is the Ibe-Sorimowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom and the National Coordinator of the Center for Peace and Environmental Justice, CEPEJ, made the call on Thursday, October 26, while congratulating President Tinubu.

According to the renowned ambassador of peace, he strongly and firmly believe that the said judgement reflects the wishes and aspirations of Nigerians and equally call on citizens to work with Mr. President to achieve his Renewed Hope Agenda for Nigerian people. 
 

The statement reads in part: "I congratulate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria over the supreme Court Victory for the Presidential election. I strongly and firmly believe that the said judgement reflects the wishes and aspirations of Nigerians.

"I urge other candidates to accept the outcome of the Presidential election result and the Supreme Court Judgment, and to work with Mr. President for the interest of all Nigerians and our dear Country. I equally call on citizens to work with Mr. President to achieve his Renewed Hope Agenda for Nigerian people.

"I however charge the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, to run an all-inclusive government in order to sustain the existing peace across the nation towards attracting an enviable developments and build Nigeria's international reputation, irrespective of ethnic, political and religious affiliations.

"It is imperative to state that the election has come and gone, litigation has equally come and gone, now is the time to build bridges of reconciliation, heal wounds and embrace all aggrieved members and candidates who participated at the general elections for a better Nigeria.

"It is time to focus on good governance to attract development to every nooks and crannies of Nigeria, in line with the principles of true democracy," Chief Mulade stated.

The peace ambassador further describe President Tinubu as a man of simplicity and sagacity with basic knowledge for good governance and development, from his antecedent as former Governor of Lagos State, the commercial nerve center of Nigeria.
