Today (May 9, 2024) makes it almost two decades and a half that our dearly beloved caring responsible father, late ABRAHAM SANA ASOH, departed this plain called Earth to an unseen realm that is largely perceived as Heaven, or a place of eternal bliss of rest.

But despite how fast time flies, that fateful day 24 years ago still seems like only yesterday, so fresh in our hearts, like a new wound. And if there's one thing death itself cannot take away from us, is the memories of a loved one. And so, we, your children, fondly remember our ever golden father,l this day, whose sweet memories flood the plains of our very existence.

Today, we vividly remember not only the identity of our dearly beloved father, but also what he stands for while he was alive. His outstanding legacies are rooted in his golden principles, discipline, upholding the truth and living by its standard as a core Ijaw man.

Our beloved father, late ABRAHAM SANA ASOH, is a father and a man whose heart is ever golden, whose being is ever loved and whose essence is overshadowed with his sincerity, honesty, truthfulness, care, and kindness.

Indeed, it is rare to find someone as you Dad. While we have strived to maintain your legacies and godly standard over the years, the reality before us is that no one can ever walk in your shoes which are much bigger than our collective feet can fit into.

We miss you Dad. It has been 24 years of wishing you were here with us. But what can we do other than to make you proud of the life we lead as we keep your legacies alive?

Continue to rest on Dad until the Day of Resurrection when we shall meet to say goodbye no more. We love you but God loves you best.
