James Ayefemawei Thomas, a native of Polobubo community in Egbema Kingdom, Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State as well as a frontline aspirant for the position of Chief Logistics Officer (CLO) in the Polobubo Youth Welfare Association, writes on the astounding leadership qualities of Mr. Paul Toruwei, a youth leader aspiring for the position of president in the youth association, and why Polobubo youths should give him their tacit support.

In the bustling political atmosphere of Polobubo community in Egbema Kingdom, Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State, where ambitions soar and promises echoes, there is one undeniable force of nature and an exemplar of visionary leadership who is known as Mr Paul Toruwei AKA the Commissioner for Youth Education and The Empowerment leader.

This description of Mr. Toruwei is not only linked to his political ambition, but he has been defined, redefined and continue to dispense what it means to be the Commissioner for Youth Education, often charting paths for new sectors and creating undeniable socio-economic impact on countless individuals. Those who enjoy these privileges are very much accessable and visible.

Mr. Toruwei was born and raised in the oil-rich Polobubo community. His early years were shaped by the realities of the creek environment he grew up in. The struggles, the aspiration and the resilience of the people around him cultivated a deep sense of responsibility in him towards the members of the community.

As a matter of fact, Mr Paul Toruwei's wealth of experience and success, both in the private sector and in government, is second to none. He is a rare gem who has demonstrated that generous men still abound on the Earth. He has been a fountain of knowledge that is imparting on his generation nuggets that will ensure that the future of Polobubo community in Egbema kingdom and Delta State at large is assured.

Over the years, Mr. PET (as he is often called) has been constantly  demonstrating commitment to the success of humanity by standing on the truth no matter whose Ox is gored. He is a quintessential Public Administrator who has distinguished himself as an astute leader, committed to the actualization of egalitarian society where truth and justice alone prevails. He has remained an icon and a beacon of hope to both the young and the old alike in Polobubo community as well as the world at large. His exemplary leadership qualities and patriotic dispositions are quite heartwarming.

Without mincing words, Mr. PET represents different things to different people. To the people at the top class,  he is an opinion leader, a role model and a catalyst for change who will stop at nothing to ensure that things are always placed in their proper perspective. To the people at the middle class, he is a firm and upright leader; a man who sees public office as a potent weapon for social change. In similar manner, the people at the lower class defines Mr. PET as an epitome of love and strength of humanity, a long-term thinker who sees beyond the days of crisis and the negative quarterly report.

In fact, his main motivation for service is the desire to make life more meaningful and livable for the toiling indigenes of our community (Polobubo). He is indeed a treasure that is priceless and a rare gem worth the epithets, forever etched in gold. The people of Polobubo community and others in Egbema Kingdom, as well as Deltans at large are glad to have such a visionary torch-bearer like him.

It is not a figure of speech but it is a literary truth that Mr. Paul Toruwei is a square peg in a square hole. The most heartwarming thing is the fact that he has remained a silent performer who has warmed himself into the hearts of countless individuals through diligent execution of people-oriented empowerment programmes that have touched the lives of countless people in many special positive ways. It is noteworthy that even in his silence, he was spotted out. Truly, they say a golden fish has no hiding place. No wonder his Divine Mandate Team described him as an outstanding Democrat and a beacon of hope for Polobubo community.

My dear leaders, stakeholders, women and youths of Polobubo community, please let us support and vote for Mr. Toruwei, popularly known as the Commissioner for Youth Education, as the President of Polobubo Bloc of Communities in the forthcoming youth election for a total transformation and overall development of our dear community and the kingdom at large.
