PAP: More Stakeholders endorse Otuaro's leadership
Various stakeholders in Warri, Delta State, including ex-agitators, community leaders, and youth group, have thrown their weight behind the leadership of High Chief Dr. Dennis Otuaro, the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, PAP, with a call on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to disregard the antics of enemies of the Niger Delta region.
The stakeholders support is coming on the heels of continuous engagement by the Amnesty Boss which is aimed at sustaining the peace and building on the gains of the empowerment initiative in the Niger Delta region.
Dr. Otuaro who, on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, met with the various stakeholders including HRH Godday Smith, the king of the forest; the Meinbotus communities and the Ijaw Youth Council, Western zone; emphasized on the importance of involving more stakeholders from impacted communities in the PAP to achieve sustainable peace in Niger Delta.
The Administrator reiterated President Tinubu's commitment to sustainable peace and rapid development in the Niger Delta, encouraging stakeholders to work together in unity to achieve the goal.
The PAP Boss urged stakeholders to take advantage of the PAP's ongoing scholarship opportunities by registering online accordingly, and also advocated for a collaborative approach that would engage more women and provide refresher training courses to previously trained beneficiaries to qualify them into the labour market.
He thanked the PAP beneficiaries and stakeholders for maintaining the existing peace in Niger Delta, and commended them for their continued cooperation and support for president Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration.
In their response, the stakeholders thanked the Administrator for his rigorous grassroots engagements in the Niger Delta region and expressed enthusiasm over his powerful reforms and good initiatives.
While referring to Dr. Otuaro as the right man for the PAP job, they assured him of their total support and good working relationship throughout his reign as the Administrator of the PAP.
