ORDINATION: Eagle Wings Gospel Church Int'l Gets First Deacon as Pst. Zibimoghan Makes Other Appointments

It was a fulfilling and refreshing session at the Eagle Wings Gospel Church International located in Udu area of Delta State, as its Founder, General Overseer and Senior Pastor Marvel Zibimoghan and the headquarter Pastor Raphael Ukulor, both witnessed the ordination of its first deacon among other ministers and appointees that were made to expand the gospel and church work.

The ordination which was performed by the General Overseer of Souls' Harvesters Ministries, Warri, Rev. Emmanuel Omoyibo Onofurho, marked the end of a four-day Power Pack Praise and Worship Programme themed "Touching God in Heaven" (Psalm 100:1-4) organised by the ministry from Wednesday, November 27, to Sunday, December 1, 2024.

In the course of the ordination, Raphael Gbenekama emerged as the church's first Deacon, while Joy Odiki and Felicia Popo were ordained as Deaconesses.

Those who were ordained as evangelist are Winner Famous Zibimoghan, Patricia Keke and Pastor Oscar; while Tombra Purity Progress was ordained as Children Pastor.

Other members of the ministry who were given appointment by Pst Zibimoghan are Evangelist Marvelous Ukulor as Church Growth Director, Mr. Edward Odudu as Building Committee Chairman, Brother Joshua as Youth President of Eagle Wings Gospel Church Int'l, Bro. Rex as Men's Leader, and Pastor Felix Keke as Prayer Director.

Delivering a sermon titled "A New Life in Christ," the G.O. of Souls' Harvesters Ministries, Rev. Onofurho, harped on the need for believers to reflect the status of a new creature having embraced Jesus Christ, by doing away with the things of the flesh in order to attract God's mercies and blessings.

Meanwhile, Pst. Zibimoghan tasked the ordained and appointed members to see their elevation as a willingness to the call for service to God and humanity, and not for ego tripping stressing that those who humble themselves in service will be lifted up by God whom they serve.

The programme witnessed powerful praise and worship session from the choirs of Eagle Wings Gospel Church Int'l as well as other performing gospel singers including Pst. Harmond Chukwugozi from Christ Foundation Embassy, Shadrach Okwowe from Morning Star Christian Center, and Taiwo Atikrekpe from Word of Life Bible Church.
