OKYC: Stakeholders Bebapere, Akuna endorse Ogulagha Youths 2026 Conference
The immediate past chairman of Ogulagha Community and Ogulagha Kingdom Youth Council (OKYC) President emeritus, Mr John Bebapere, and the immediate past National President of OKYC, Hon. Timi Akuna, have both given their endorsements to the two-day Conference scheduled to hold from Friday 23 to Saturday 24, January 2026.
Organised by the OKYC, led by its President, Comrade Roland Dede, the Conference is scheduled to hold in the Ogulagha Community Town Hall with youths of the kingdom and other guests expected to be in attendance.
Themed, "Entrepreneurship and Technological Advancement", the Conference, according to the OKYC President, is to create awareness in the youths on latest technological tools and how they can be commercialised for wealth creation as well as for the advancement of the community and kingdom development.
Both leaders, Mr. Bebapere and Hon Akuna, lauded the Ogulagha youth council for coming up with the insight to make the youths independent by tapping into their skills and God given abilities.
They also called on other stakeholders in and outside the oil-rich kingdom to give massive support to the youth body as its success will have a impacts on the youths which in the long term will translate to more opportunities.
Comrade Dede, in his response, thanked the stakeholders and others for their endorsements of the OKYC Conference, assuring them that the youth body will not disappoint, but live up to standard
