Apst. Timiedi Simon, one of the contestants vying for the position of chairman in Okerenkoko Federated Community in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, has congratulated the chairman-elect, Chief Mosco Johnny.

The vibrant youth contestant made his position known on the recent development in a congratulatory message on Friday, April 11, 2025.

Apst. Simon thanked God for the opportunity and the outcome as well as the leaders of the Okerenkoko for their wise choice on who to lead and to take the community to the next level.

He also called on all fellow contestants and the people of Okerenkoko to support the favoured candidate, Chief Mosco Johnny, to uplift the community to great height.

The message reads: "First, I want to thank the Almighty God for the opportunity to present myself to serve the people of Okerenkoko Federated Community via my interest to vie for the position of chairman in the community.

"I also thank the leadership of Bibopere Zion and those of Okerenkoko Federated Community for their support, and more importantly High Chief Government Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo, for his unwavering support and to see that the community is transformed to a higher level than it currently is.

"On that note I want to congratulate Chief Mosco Johnny for emerging as the newly elected Chairman of our dear community as I pledge my total support to his leadership and my desire to work with him.

"I want to also emphasize that we are all winners. And so, I hereby call on all fellow contestants as well as the people of Okerenkoko Federated Community to join hands together with the favoured Chairman to lift our dear community to the next level."

With the latest development, it is expected that the Dr. Shedrack Otuaro-led executive council whose tenure will elapse on June 19, 2025, will now pave the way for the emergence of the Chief Johnny-led council to handle the affairs of the federated community.
