The Public Relations and Mobilization Officer in the Gbaramatu Interdenominational Christian Fellowship, GICF, Pastor Felix Famutua, has reportedly lost his elder brother, Mr. Friday Famutua, to the cold hands of death.

The news of his sudden death was disclosed by Pastor Famutua, who is also a resident pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, in Delta State 

According to the Pastor Famutua who first broke the news of the death of the deceased in his Facebook wall on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, where he wrote "Good night big brother!", said in a brief message that his loving elder brother passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023.

"His name is Mr. Friday Famutua. He is the eldest son of Jonathan Ojenre Famutua of Bibopre Zion, Okerenkoko in Gbaramatu Kingdom. He passed away on Monday 17th July, 2023 after a brief illness at Bibopre Zion, Okerenkoko," the message reads.

Continuing, he said, “Before his demise, he was a friendly man to everyone he came in contact with and a committed member of Cherubim & Seraphim Church, Bibopere Zion, Okerenkoko Federated Community in Gbaramatu Kingdom.”

The GICF Public Relations and Mobilization Officer also revealed that the late Mr. Famutua who died at the age of 74 years, was buried in the afternoon on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at his home town, Bibopere Zion, Okerenkoko. 

The deceased is survived by a wife, foster children and siblings.
