OBITUARY: Late Madam Asaba Dora Ogegbene Passes On, for Burial November 29

The families of Ekpemuta of Benikrukru community and the Amabenimo of Oporoza community, both in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, announce the passing of their daughter, aunt, and mother, Late Madam Asaba Dora Ogegbene, popularly known as Iya Israel (Mother of Israel).

According to a statement released by the family and signed by Mr Clement Ogegbene, the late Madam Ogegbene will be laid to rest in Oporoza on Friday, November 29, 2024.

The late Madam Asaba Dora Ogegbene who passed away at Westend Hospital in Warri on March 7, 2024, is a member of the Hollywood Zion Ministry where she was ordained as the Iya Israel.

She is survived by four children (out of the 10 children she gave birth to), 23 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She hails from the Kenebra Idumu in Oporoza community and from Bralabor Idumu in Benikrukru community.

According to the family, the burial arrangements will be announced later after the conclusion of series of meetings to that effect.
