The sudden death has been announced of Mrs. Victoria Omanufogho Ogoba (Nee Ikpokpo), the beloved wife of Chief Julius Ogoba, a chieftain in the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South-West, Delta State, and Tubutoru Kingdom in Odigbo local government area, Ondo State.

The late Mrs. Ogoba passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 30, 2025, according to a statement announcing her passing and that was signed by the husband of the deceased on behalf of the family.

The statement reads in part, "It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother, Mrs. Victoria Omanufogho Ogoba (Nee Ikpokpo) of Isoko South L.G.A in Delta State, who peacefully fell asleep in the Lord on Thursday, 30th October 2025, after a brief illness."

The statement further disclosed that funeral arrangements are to be announced later.
