NOVEMBER 14: Oromoni, Izoukumor, Okpoye, others for NADIS Entrepreneurship Summit
The National Association of Delta Ijaw Students (NADIS) Worldwide under the leadership of its President, Comrade Johnson Nanasintei, is set to host an Entrepreneurship Summit, "a transformative event" the student body said is "dedicated to unlocking the entrepreneurial potential of Niger Delta students" which is the theme of the Summit.
The NADIS Entrepreneurship Summit which is scheduled to hold 10:00am in Warri Club, Delta State, on Friday, November 14, 2025, has as its Chief Host, Hon. Sylvester Oromoni, Chairman, Warri South-West Local Government Council.
Other Special Guests of Honour are Comrade Shedrack Agediga, Chairman, Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board; Hon. (Chief) Favour Izoukumor, Executive Director of Social Services in the Board of DESOPADEC; Hon. Spencer Okpoye, Honourable Commissioner representing Ijaw Ethnic Nationality in the Board of DESOPADEC.
Otbers are Comrade Nicholas Tamaradenyefa Igarama, Chairman, Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), Western Zone; Hon. Kyness Oromoni, SSA to the Governor on Oil and Gas/Entrepreneurial; and Gen. Aroni Oputu, First Phase Amnesty Chairman.
Also expected as Guest Speakers at the Summit are Rtn. (Dr.) Vincent Udume Odogbor (JP), SSA Mass Mobilization to the Governor of Delta State; Amb. Endurance Bekenawei Nwachukwu, CEO, Endybekx Initiative for Children and Women Development; Zitu Tarelayefa Blessing, Creative Director, Zitu Media Prints and Zitu Clothing; and Comr. Felix Okubokekeme Wisdom, CEO, Celebrity Shoemaking Enterprises.
Speaking on the essence of the Summit, the student body stated that, "The Niger Delta is blessed not only with natural wealth, but also with an abundance of human talent, creativity, and innovation. However, many young people in the region have long faced barriers such as limited access to mentorship, resources, and entrepreneurial opportunities.
"Recognizing this, the National Association of Delta Ijaw Students (NADIS) Worldwide wishes to unveil their most anticipated NADIS Entrepreneurship Summit, a transformative event dedicated to unlocking the entrepreneurial potential of Niger Delta students.
"This summit is designed to inspire and equip participants with the knowledge, and tools needed to build self reliant and impact driven businesses that contribute to regional and national growth."
It therefore invites students and the general public to attend the Summit, stressing that, "Attendees will benefit from engaging sessions led by successful entrepreneurs, visionary mentors, and development leaders sharing practical insights on innovation, business resilience, and sustainable growth."
