The leadership of Pepe-Ama Federated Community in the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, has announced the postponement of its meeting earlier scheduled for Thursday, September 3, 2026.

The announcement was contained in a statement issued by the Assistant Secretary, Mr. Hebrew Wuruyai, on behalf of the Chairman, Mr. Christopher Ejoh, who attributed the postponement to unforeseen circumstances.

The meeting, which was billed to commence at 10:00 a.m. at the Pepe-Ama Town Hall, was expected to bring together sons and daughters of the community for the inauguration of a committee.

Ejoh, on behalf of the community leadership, expressed regret over the development and apologised for any inconvenience the postponement may cause indigenes and other concerned persons who had made arrangements to attend.

The chairman appealed for the understanding and cooperation of all sons and daughters of Pepe-Ama, assuring them that the leadership would communicate a new date for the meeting in due course.

The leadership further urged members of the community to help disseminate information on the postponement, particularly to those who may have received the earlier notice, to prevent unnecessary travel or inconvenience.

It also thanked the people for their understanding and continued cooperation with the leadership while assuring them that details of the rescheduled meeting would be made public as soon as a new date is fixed.
