Dr. Paul Bebenimibo, media consultant to High Chief Dr. Government Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo, has described the foremost Niger Delta leader and Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, TSSNL, as "a man among millions" and a leader with a divine calling, who has chosen the mandate that the Almighty God has given to him to execute in his lifetime.

Dr. Bebenimibo, who also revealed that the burdens Tompolo is carrying are enormous, made the disclosure when he received on behalf of the Niger Delta leader a photo portrait and award plaque presented by a delegation of staff from the Nigeria Maritime University, NMU, Okerenkoko, at his office in Warri, Delta State, on Wednesday, September 18, 2024.

The portrait and award presented by the team leader of the delegation, Ebike Iseru, is in recognition, and a physical demonstration of the NMU's appreciation of Tompolo's laudable contributions to the maritime institution.

According to Dr. Bebenimibo, during his brief acceptance speech, thanked the staff of the NMU for the honour given to his Boss, even though the Niger Delta leader is not expecting such because what he is doing for mankind is divine.

In his words, "It is heartwarming to see that the seed put in the soil is growing... First, let me thank God and thank you people for finding him (Tompolo) worthy. For him, he's doing what God has sent him to do. So, he doesn't even want anybody to come and tell him 'Thank You'.

"In fact, some of us that are his close followers; he is the one that have the calling, he put us together to do it. Otherwise, what that man is going through is not easy; he's carrying a lot of burdens for mankind, I must say this.

"He's a man among millions; it's very difficult for you to see somebody like him because he puts his own problems away, and then take care of other people's problems. That's the kind of person he is. And i know you know him, that's why you want to show some appreciation," the media aide added.

Speaking further, Tompolo's media aide disclosed that the NMU is in historic record as the first of its kind in the West African region, said that it is his Boss dream to see that the NMU has a global recognition, hence he is working behind tne scene to ensure that some of the challenges confronting the maritime institute are checkmated.

"Of course, you have brought a success story of the university. Some people will think that nothing is happening in that university, but you're eloquent evidence... Some of you are now moving to senior lecturer, and then we believe that from here you will move higher and higher until we get to where we are going.

"I also know my Boss is nursing the ambition for this school to have a more robust, global outlook, global recognition and so on. In some cases, silence is more than words, so I don't want to say much, but to pray that let's move from this level to another level," he added.
