Did you know that Mrs. (Dr.) Aisha Achimugu set Grenada alight in the Caribbean island with a 7-day 50th birthday party, with reports alleging that the billionaire spent nearly $1 million (more than a N1 billion) to rent the island for an entire week?

The Nigerian Abuja-based business woman and billionaire, Amb. Mrs. (Dr) Aisha Achimugu, who turned 50 years on Monday, January 22, 2024, seems to have set a record in the event of her birthday party celebrating her golden jubilee.

Reports have it that the socialite hosted a seven days birthday party on the sands of Grand Anse Beach in Grenada which saw guests alternate between Calivigny Island and Silversand. The cost of a night at the Silversands Resort begins from the sum of $1,060 (N1,378,000) per person. Calvigny Island, on the other hand, costs about $30,000 (over N39 million) per night, for the entire island. The prices for the private island can also vary from $30,000 to $165,000 per night, depending on the time of year.

Guests at the party, which kicked off on Tuesday January 16, included some of the crème de la crème in the Nigerian entertainment industry and prominent figures in politics and business. Meanwhile, the female billionaire will also be hosting another birthday party at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja on January 26 (6 pm) and there will also be a dinner party at the International Conference Centre the following day (from 8:30 pm).

Mrs. Aisha is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Felak Concept Group with well-established expertise in civil, structural, and transportation engineering, and has over the years diversified into Consultancy/Transaction Advisory services, maritime and environmental waste management, servicing both private and public sector clients. Several other companies under the Group include Altex Engineering Oil & Gas Services Limited, AY Dol Limited, Oceangate Oil Gas Limited, Wishwhich Koncept Limited, Felak Concept Limited.

Born on the 22nd of January 1974 to Capt. J.E.A & Mrs. Adole (Rtd.), Mrs. Aisha, from a very humble beginning, attended the Federal Government Girls Science School, Kuje in Abuja. From there she transited to the University of Jos, Nigeria, where she acquired a B.Sc in Accountancy in 1998. She was later awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree by the Commonwealth University, Belize.

Mrs. Aisha, through her wealth of experience gathered over the years, has been able to steer the Felak Concept Group by overseeing all aspects of the its businesses and has positioned the company as a key player in the global Engineering and Maritime circle.

Presently, Mrs. Aisha is at the forefront of the initiative for the actualization and development of a Deep Sea Port in South-South, Nigeria. She is the first female Consultant/Transaction Advisor on the development of a Deep-Sea Port through one of her high profile companies.

She is the Founder/President of SAM Empowerment Foundation, a flag-ship of her humanitarian service to see to it that numerous women and children are empowered for greatness through developing impactful programs and projects. She also contributed immensely in the development of a blueprint for the opening of the Turai Center for Breast/Cervical Cancer in Nigeria, and 2013 African Achievers’ Fast Growing Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

In recognition of Mrs. Aisha’s brilliant accomplishments, she has received several awards one of which is the Youth Ambassador for Peace Award which recognizes individuals whose lives exemplify ideal living for the sake of others and who dedicate themselves to practices that promote universal moral values.

Mrs. (Dr) Aisha Achimugu is a well-respected and highly-revered business head and perfectly fits the description of a global corporate leader. The outstanding qualities that have made her a pillar within her sphere of influence is her strong work ethics, discipline, self-confidence, flexibility, creativity, winning attitude, balanced optimism and above all, her positive attitude towards life generally. Sulaiman Akao Achimugu and is blessed with three children. However, her husband passed away in 2020. Sulaiman was said to have died from COVID-19 complications.
