LEADERSHIP: Gbaramatu youths commend Warri South-West Legislative Leader, Rt. Hon. Ekpemupolo

The Mr. Egbejule Arerebo Kingsley-led Gbaramatu Youth Council, GYC, in Gbaramatu Kingdom has commended the Leader of the Legislative Arm in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Ekpemupolo Idukedoumene Samuel, for his transformative leadership and support to the youth council.

The GYC President gave the commendation when the youth council paid a courtesy visit to the legislative leader in the legislative chambers of the LG council at Ogbe-Ijoh, on Monday, March 24, 2025.

Other members of the youth council im attendance are Comrade Erike Tarike Raphael, Secretary; Comrade Evidence Onitsha, Financial Secretary; and Comrade Doubra Padowei, Chief Organizer.

The GYC, in demonstration of its appreciation of the vital leadership roles played by Rt. Hon. Ekpemupolo, who doubles as the Chairman of Councillors Forum in Delta State and the National Financial Secretary of Councillors Forum Nigeria, presented a Roll-Up Stand bearing a photo imprint of the legislative leader as a gift.

The GYC thanked Rt. Hon. Ekpemupolo for rising up to the needs of the youth council especially in its pursuit to boost quality education in Gbaramatu Kingdom and in hosting successfully its first Congress, among other assistance rendered.

In his resonse, the Leader of the Legislative Arm of Warri South-West LG Council thanked the Mr. Arerebo-led youth body for the honour given to him in recognition of his contributions.

Rt. Hon. Ekpemupolo promised to lend his support to the youth council and to come up with programmes to encourage the youths in the kingdom, as well as to make the GYC a priority to ensure it meets with its objectives.

Speaking to PENGlobal Community on behalf of the GYC President about the courtesy visit, Comr. Erike said, "Since the inception of the Council, he has been instrumental to the success that we have been recording through his encouragement and also as a leader in the kingdom.

"So we deem it fit to pay him a courtesy visit and present a roll-up stand to him, courtesy of GYC because his office has been in support of the GYC. Even in our first Congress that we held, he gave us some support and ideas in carrying out the Congress, the first ever congress that we had. And then in terms of the educational programme, he was instrumental and paved way for us to meet with the Tompolo Foundation," he added.
