LATE PA FARAJU IBIME: Opuede community to honour oldest man with befitting burial

Delta riverine Opuede community in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, is set to honour its late Amakosuowei, Pa. Faraju Ibime, with a befitting funeral rites on Friday, November 22, 2024.

This is contained in a notice signed and released by the Ibime Family of Opuede on Monday.

The Late Pa. Faraju Ibime, the holder of the title of the Amakosuowei of Opuede community, passed on at the age of 104 years.

He is survived by one wife, 17 children, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

According to the notice, the Amakosuowei will be given a befitting burial in Opuede community in honour of his contributions and role as an aged elder with preparations already in top gear by the community leadership and elders.

May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
