LATE PA. CLEMENT OMOLE EREMENEGHA ODU: Faces at All-Night Social Ceremony as Tributes Pour In [Part 3]

Families, friends and sympathisers stayed awake all night in Okerenkoko Federated Community, Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West council area of Delta State to honour the Late Snr Boan Pa Clement Omole Eremenegha Odu whose remains had been interred on the evening of Friday, August 30, 2024.

Izon highlife musician, Chief Kingsley Takemebo and De Jesus Is Lord Crew were on ground to entertain guests in a bid to keep the atmosphere lively.

Here are some of the tributes written in honour of the late historian by family members eulogising the legendary leader who passed away at the age of 90 years.

"Your sudden passing unto the land of see no more has created an unoccupied space in my heart. You were a father, a coordinator, an organizer, a bridge builder and peace maker. Your constant intervention in resolving conflicts amongst families with a heart of unconditional love can never be over emphasized. Sir, your absence in the family will ever be remembered. Sleep on till we meet to part no more." — BRO ABEDNEGO ERIS ODU, Son.

"I just can’t imagine that you are no longer with us. You mean so much to me. You were always there for everyone and you made all to feel like a family. You always ensure that we are all big and one united family. Your meaningful impact can never be forgotten. Your words of prayer for the family can never be forgotten too. If I would have to say more about you, pages of paper won’t be enough. Continue to rest on the Lord." — PST. MECHACK ERIS ODU, Son.

"It is sad and with a heavy heart we pen this tribute to our beloved father. We never believed that we will be doing this now. We know for sure that the inevitable end of all mortals is death. However, we all trust that it will come at a ripe old age. You were a rare kind of a person. You showed love and kindness to us all. You were a husband, father, uncle and friend to us all.
