LATE MRS. PINAPINA OTUARO: Izon-Ibe Welders and Fitters sympathise with former deputy governor, family

The Delta State chapter of the Izon-Ibe Welders and Fitters Association in Nigeria, has expressed their heartfelt sympathy in condolence to the former deputy governor of the state and Gbaramatu-born political leader, His Excellency, Dcn. Barr. Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, over the recent loss of his mother, Mrs. Pinapina Otuaro.

This is contained in an official statement released and signed by the chairman of the professional body of welders and fitters, Chief (Engr.) George Timiyan (JP), on Friday, February 14, 2025.

Reacting to the sudden passing of the 87-year-old Mrs. Pinapina who died on Wednesday, February 12, at the Group Medical Hospital in Mosheshe Estate, Effurun, Chief Timiyan, who is the Miyenkeremowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom and the Mein Ibe-Disemowei of Ogulagha Kingdom, noted that such incident always leave a great burden beyond words can express in the hearts of the affected family.

The association in their sympathy urged the Otuaro family to be strong at such a time especially as they believed that the deceased would have wanted them to be joyful and not sad.

Also, in their condolence message the professional body acknowledged the fact that the late Otuaro lived a fulfilled life having raised a son who became deputy governor of the state for eight years among other public offices.

"We, the Izon-Ibe Welders and Fitters Association, Delta State chapter, under the chairmanship of Double Chief (Engr.) George Timiyan JP, the Miyenkeremowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom and the Mein Ibe-Disemowei of Ogulagha Kingdom, offer our message of condolence to our dear brother and leader, Excellency, Dcn. (Barr.) Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, over the recent loss of his beloved golden mother, Mrs. Pinapina Otuaro, who passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.

"Your Excellency, we know such a time as this leaves a heavy burden on your heart and those of other family members. However, we urge you and your family to be strong especially as Mama would not want to see her children in tears despite the sad loss caused by her sudden death.

"Rather we urge you and the family to take solace in the fact that Mama lived a fulfilled life as exemplified in your occupancy as the number two citizen of the state in the position of deputy governor (2015–2023)," the statement reads.

The Izon-Ibe Welders and Fitters Association prayed for the soul of the late Otuaro to rest peacefully in the Bosom of the Creator and that the Almighty God grant the family the strength to go through the rituals of giving their departed mother a befitting burial in the days ahead.

"As the family prepare to give Mama a befitting burial rite, it is our sincere prayers that the Almighty God grant you all the fortitude to bear this great irreparable loss and that the soul of Mama find eternal peaceful rest in the Bosom of the Creator (Amen)."
