06 Nov, 2023

We begin this note of appreciation with Thanksgiving to the Almighty God who gives and takes, for His protection, provisions, and the success that was recorded in the funeral of our late mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Late Mama Isomu Odudu (Nee Igbogidi), that began with a Service of Songs on Wednesday, November 1, and culminated with funeral rites on Friday, November 3, 2023, at Oporoza Town, Gbaramatu Kingdom.

We are also grateful to friends and other sympathisers who condole us on the passing of our ever golden mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Your kind words of encouragement helped us to gather strength to do what is required of us in giving Mama a befitting burial. We say THANK YOU for being there for us.

More importantly, we also acknowledge all those who contributed financially and supported us physically before and during the funeral ceremonies of Mama. Your contributions and support no doubt played a crucial part in the success of the funeral and we say THANK YOU for your generosity and giving spirit, mostly in rising to our needs.

To all the spiritual leaders and members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Bethel Parish in Otokutu, Udu Local Government Area of Delta State, and those of the Anglican Church in Oporoza Town, Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area, we say a big THANK YOU for honouring Mama through the conduct of the Service of Songs and the burial rites, respectively.

Lastly, to all family members of Late Mama Isomu Odudu (Nee Igbogidi) from Ugeh Idumu in Kokodiagbene Town and from Ikirentimi/Kenibra Idumu in Oporoza Town, we did well through our efforts, prayers, and the display of love before, during and after the funeral rites of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother. We urge the love to continue to blossom.

It is our prayers that we all continue to celebrate life and never to mourn, and that the Lord grant us the grace to live a fulfilled life so at the end we are entitled to an everlasting crown in His Kingdom filled the splendor of His glory in Jesus name, Amen.
