LATE CHIEF MRS. ASUGBO ISERU: Capt. Mark Timiyan Set for Burial of Mother-In-law at Ogbe-ijoh May 3

Elder Capt. Mark Timiyan from the Timiyan Royal Dynasty is set to lead an entourage of eminent personalities from both Gbaramatu Kingdom and Ogulagha Kingdom, among others, to the burial ceremony of his late mother-in-law, Chief Mrs. Asugbo Doris Iseru (Nee Gbenekama) at Ogbe-Ijoh Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, on Friday, May 3, 2024.

The burial of the late wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister and in-law, Chief Mrs. Iseru, who died at the age of 104 years, has been termed as a "celebration of life".

According to the burial arrangement as signed by Mr Jonathan Gbenekama for the family and by Mr Victor Iseru for the children, a Service of Songs ceremony holds at the residence of the deceased in Oturubiri Quarter, Ogbe-Ijoh by 4:00pm on Thursday, May 2, 2024.

The Service of Songs ceremony is followed by a funeral service at The Church Of The Pentecost (Anglican Communion) at Ogbe-Ijoh, by 10:00am on Friday, May 3, 2024.

Internment follows immediately at her residence, and with entertainment of guests at Ewein Primary School in Ogbe-Ijoh.

The late Chief Mrs. Asugbo Doris Iseru (Nee Gbenekama) hails from the Gbenekama family in Ogbe-Ijoh Kingdom and was married to the Iseru family in Odimodi Town, Burutu L.G.A of Delta State.
