KYDM: Blessing Laide Salutes Sponsors, Supporters | Reiterate Commitment to Inclusive Leadership

The Youth President of Kokodiagbene Youth Development Movement, KYDM, Comr. Blessing Laide, over the weekend expressed his appreciation on behalf of his exco members to all those who assisted them with financial, moral and spiritual support at their recent inauguration in Kokodiagbene community, Gbaramatu Kingdom.

Recall that the Comr. Laide-led executives took their oath of office in a brief inauguration ceremony that held at the community town hall on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.

According to the KYDM President, the series of activities in the kingdom for the past few weeks, especially the burial of a renowned kingdom leader, Late High Chief J.G.B Ari JP (of blessed memory) among others, made his exco to delay its appreciation until now.

In the appreciation message, Comr. Laide noted that the massive support the exco received from various personalities as well as from the youths and community leaders contributed to the massive success of the inauguration.

"We want to salute, from the depths of our hearts, the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, Chief (Engr.) Kestin Pondi; chairman of Kokodiagbene, Comr. Pedro Bekenawei; a leader and former chairman of Kokodiagbene, Chief (Comr.) Sheriff Mulade; other community chiefs such as Chief (Engr.) George Timiyan (JP), Chief (Capt.) Felix Eguare, Chief Paul Ukuli, Chief (Mrs.) Ebidoumene Ojogun, and the chairman of the occasion, Engr. Lelegha Timiyan.

"We also recognise Hon. Godfrey Pondi, Hon. Kelvin Ojogun, Hon. Akpodikumor Oturubo, Hon. Uyadongha Powede, Hon. Jimoh Keniye, Hon. Shadrach Ebikeme (GYC President), Hon. Wilfred Emiko, Hon. Collins Oturubo, Comr. City Ojowuru, Mrs. Preye Keniye, Dcns. Ati Edafe.

"We also thank Engr. Timi Oworo, Engr. Johnson Powede, Engr. Faith Mamamu,  Elder Sylvester Ari, Comr. Kelvin Igere, Comr. Ben Mamamu, Comr. Ebipade Timiyan, Comr. Superior Adurumokumor, Comr. Solomon Keniye, Elder Kemeseiyefa Ari, Comr. Ark Selegha, youths of Kokodiagbene and a list of endless supporters.

"Please kindly pardon us if we fail to mention your names as the list is quite bogus. Also, accept this our token of appreciation for your assistance, prayers and counsels which are all invaluable to us. By His grace we will not let you down.

"We use this opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to serve and in the process to carry all along. We are open to ideas and contributions as we enjoin all to join hands with us to make KYDM and our community great," he appealed.

Other members of the Comr. Blessing Laide exco are Layefa Timadi (Vice President), Seiwei Peres (General Secretary), Glory Wilikie (Public Relations Officer), Fellow Faith (Financial Secretary), Gift Timiyan (Assistant Secretary) and Brubor Mary (Treasurer).
